Professional culture describes the underlying framework that shapes an organizational ecosystem over time. [1]

Professionalization

Professionalization can be thought of as the social process by which any occupation transforms itself into a true profession. The process tends to result in establishing acceptable qualifications, a body or association to oversee the conduct of members within the profession, and some method to differentiate between the qualified and unqualified. [2]

Professionals

Professionals are the individuals who possess expertise in a particular area or field that allows them to accomplish the distinctive tasks of their position. For example: a professional musician must have specialized training in sight-reading techniques while also understanding the complexities of his/her instrument. [3]
